After losing a movie roll to Marisa Tomei in “My Cousin Vinny” Angela Allen set her sights on radio. And to say she did well out of the shoots would be an understatement, after an in-studio, on-air interview with WRBT in Harrisburg, Pa. she was voted by the listeners to be the new 7 to midnight co-host. She and her partner Wes took the time slot to the top of the ratings race and stayed there for over 4 years after a move to afternoon drive.

A torrid romance and false allegations of Angela’s tops not always matching her shoes finally took their toll on the show, she began moving up and down the radio dial in Pennsylvania. So much so that she gained the attention of a radio station all the way down south in beautiful Corpus Christi, Texas. Two phone calls, three e-mails, a failed text message and 15 hundred miles later, and armed with the latest copy of Coastal Living and a husband named Bill in tow, Angela Allen became the co-host of the Beach 96.5 morning show.
